What do you know about event and travel planning?

Planning an event is extremely time-consuming sorting venues, food, guests, speakers etc. And in the same way, travel planning can be very stressful attending a conference or exhibition, or meeting an important new client is very different from booking a holiday.

How much do you really know about event and travel planning?

Events are a great way to get people to engage with your business. From seminars to awards; charity days to parties, a good event can boost your brand, increase your profile and even bring in new business.

And, of course, travel can be an integral part of getting your business done – but it’s an expense that you need to keep under control. Which is why, for both event and travel planning, it might be best to get some support.

The value of good events and travel support

As with all things, a little bit of specialist knowledge can make all the difference. Events and travel are two key areas of business spend where you always want to see how you can get more for your money. It can sometimes be difficult to measure the returns you get on an event; and travel always feels like money you don’t want to spend at all.

So, if someone can save you time and help keep your costs down whilst also giving you the experience you want, that has to be a good thing.

Do you have enough time to do a good job yourself?

If you haven’t got the time to manage your event and travel planning, why not give us a call?

Our clients tell us that working with a dedicated event and travel planning service helps because:

It saves money – knowing which direct channels to use and being able to negotiate means that your business can save money on both travel and events. An events and travel support VA will know where to look for the best deals, and understand how to bundle requirements together to qualify for certain discounts or offers.

It boosts your brand – for events planning, a well-organised, smoothly-run event that delivers value to attendees is a real boost for your brand. It engages the right people, builds your reputation and helps you to make important contacts.

It removes stress – planning an event is extremely time-consuming. It’s not just about booking a venue and ordering some cake; you’ll need to think about a guest list, invitations, presentations, corporate gifts, guest speakers, sponsors, partners and more. And in the same way, organising travel can be very stressful, particularly when you have to be at a certain place at a certain time – attending a conference or exhibition, or meeting an important new client is very different from booking a holiday.

So, if you’re confident you know enough to do a great job yourself, that’s fantastic.
But if you haven’t got the time to manage your event and travel planning, why not give us a call?
